Another very successful day for the club running yesterday’s Area 13 Arena eventing qualifier competition at Brendon Stud.
Rudgwick performed exceptionally well (of course!) so we will have a bunch of members competing at the National Championships next May at Aston-le-Walls
- 70cm Qualifier – Natalie 7th place
- 70cm Non-qualifier – Vicki 1st place
- 80cm Qualifier: Team 1st place – Elaine, Alex, Kirsty, Lucy
- 80cm Individual Qualifier: Elaine 3rd, Kirsty 5th, Karen 6th
- 90cm Qualifier: Team 1st place – Tom, Kat, Julie-Ann, Fenella
- 90cm Qualifier: Team 5th place – Lottie, Kelly, Anna P
- 90cm Individual qualifier – Tom 1st, Lottie 3rd, Kat 4th, Julie-Ann 5th, Kelly 6th
- 1m Qualifier: Team 1st place – Tom, Clare, Caity
- 1m individual qualifier – Tom 1st, Clare 3rd, Caity 4th
And that’s just those with placings, even those that weren’t so fortunate did really well, and I was so proud of being a member of our not so little club now! We now look forward to the Winter Show Jumping Qualifier at the end of November.
We must thank Katy for ensuring the whole day ran smoothly, she even managed to compete herself, some sort of superwoman! Also thanks go to Julia and Fenella for managing entries and money, Isobel and Natalie for being judge support, and our stewards who got absolutely soaked – Anneli & Sarah in particular.
